Pumpkin BRAINNNS Soup!!!! These suckers took two hours to make and after 10 minutes of eating we were too full to finish. Pumpkin soup for the rest of the week!

If you want the recipe, ask Julia Child.

Lesson Learned: BRAAAAIIINNNSSSSS!

STEP BY STEP (Almost) STAY PUFT CUPCAKES

1) CUPCAKE! Get one!

2) Icing! Put that crap on there!

3) Marshmallows (large)! one for the head and split another in half. (You’ll only need one of the half pieces.)

4) Fondant! Blue and Red. Microwave each for 5-10 seconds, roll flat.

    Cut out:

    - Large Rectangle for sailor collar.

    - long red strip for front ribbon

    - 1 short red strip 1 short blue strip for hat

    - 1 small blue ball for hat

5) Form Hat! Wrap short blue strip of cooled fondant around the bottom of a marshmallow 1/2. Flip over then create the hat ribbon with the short red strip and place the blue ball on top.

6) Form Collar! Place the large blue rectangle and the large red ribbon on the cupcake. Add WHITE ICING ribbon on the blue collar.

7) Form FACE! Draw the face with icing or food coloring pens. I suggest food coloring pens. (Dan drew the face for me.)

8) Assemble VOLTRON… I mean STAY PUFT!

Today Dan and I celebrated our anniversary. I made him dinner and a special dessert. :)

Lesson Learned: Marshmallows are stubborn.

It’s my last week at Sony Pictures. Starting next week I’ll be a freelance Writer and VO artist. Living the dream, Ma!

I made this Arale bento-for-two for my beautiful and amazing friend Masayo-chan! We had a picnic on the lot and Masayo ate Arale’s face while saying, ‘I’m sorry. I’m Sorry’ to Arale as she poured soy sauce on her eye.

I picked up a lot of new bento toys at Daiso in San Fran the other week. So cheap! So wonderful!

Bento consists of: Hard boiled Eggs, Sausage, brown rice, red peppers, Lima Bean & Goat cheese salad and mini chocolates.

Arale made of deli meats, cheese and nori!

LESSON LEARNED: I’m going to miss Masayo the most!

Dan’s episode of Written by a Kid went up on the interwebs. It’s called SCARY SMASH. If you haven’t seen it CHECK IT OUT, YO! It stars Joss Whedon, Dave Foley and Kate Micucci.

Since I make something for him to bring to set for all his projects. I made cookies based off the story in Scary Smash. I was assisted by the lovely Carey who was in town visiting. I picked her up from the airport at midnight, brought her back, and then forced her to decorate cookies and get drunk with me. I know, I’m evil.

I got the idea of cookie pops from Kate Micucci. She always gives them out after her shows. Thanks, Kate.

Lesson Learned: Gushers and Nerds on Cookies is BASICALLY the best idea ever (next to bacon.)

My best friend Carey came to visit me last week. We got to play the Sailor Moon arcade game from start to finish. She was Venus and I was Jupiter, as it should be. While I was making my lunch tonight, I decided she deserved a bento in her honor. Sorry, V-Babe… I get to eat it though. Bwahaha.
Lesson Learned: I’m using sauce containers Carey bought me for my last birthday. They are the cutest. Oh.Em.Gee.

It should come as no surprise that Dan and I did a full-day Marvel Movie Marathon with some friends in preparation of seeing The Avengers. The schedule:

From 11am - 11:30pm (taking breaks between films):

All-american Breakfast and Captain America.

Whiskey on the rocks and Iron Man. (We had lunch in there somewhere)

Gamma slammas and The Hulk

Black Widows, Pizza and Iron Man 2 (We remembered it being a bad film… but somehow it was worse than we had remembered! The Black Widows and pizza helped.)

(Jane) Foster’s Beer, Hostess Fruit Pies and Thor!

Lesson Learned: EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS! It was awesome.

Panda Cake! Masayo-chan brought me so many presents from Japan! (She’s the best!) This microwaveable panda cake was one of them, I couldn’t wait to make it!!!

I must say, out of all the Kracie packages I’ve done… this one actually looked good! It was probably the Jameson I was drinking that helped. SCIENCE!

Lesson Learned: This tasted like nothing. Microwaveable nothing.
